Meet Judge Raag Singhal
On April 29, 2021, at noon eastern, the South Florida Chapter of the Federal Bar Association will introduce the federal bar to one of our district’s “new” judges, the Honorable Raag Singhal. And helping us with this introduction will be the Honorable Roy Altman, who, like Judge Singhal, joined our bench in 2019.
In This is Your Life fashion, Judge Altman will delve into Judge Singhal’s upbringing, the lessons he learned from his parents, his career as both a prosecutor and a criminal defense lawyer, his service as a state court judge, and, finally, his transition to the federal bench. The interview will also feature some Judge Singhal-related trivia, including his favorite U.S. President, famous cases on which he worked, priceless comic books he may own, and a certain basketball rookie card that he has under 24-7 security at an undisclosed location. When the interview concludes, both Judge Singhal and Judge Altman will take questions from our virtual attendees.
