The Judges of the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Florida, cordially invite you to a conversation with Professor Akhil Reed Amar, Sterling Professor of Law and Political Science at Yale University, followed by a reception on the 14th floor of the Wilkie D. Ferguson, Jr. United States Courthouse.

Location: Wilkie D. Ferguson, Jr. United States Courthouse, 400 North Miami Avenue, Ceremonial Courtroom (13th floor), Miami, Florida 33128

Registration Details: Please register using the button below.  Additionally, proof of vaccination must be emailed no later than January 7, 2022, to FLSD_Program@FLSD.uscourts.gov. There is no charge to attend this event. This event is hosted by the Southern District of Florida, and refreshments will be provided by the Federal Bench & Bar Fund.

In order to ensure everyone’s safety, the following protocols will be in place: • Usual building entrance protocol which is mandatory mask and temperature screening. • Everyone must wear a mask unless eating/drinking. Cocktail tables will be socially distanced.
