About the Event
On July 21 at noon EST, the South Florida, Broward, and Palm Beach chapters of the Federal Bar Association and the Bankruptcy Bar Association are proud to host a zoom Diversity event, Implicit Bias & The Justice System, featuring speaker William C. Snowden, along with introductory remarks by United States District Court Judges Kathleen Williams, Robin Rosenberg, and Rodolfo Ruiz, who serve on the Southern District of Florida’s Fairness & Diversity Committee.
Mr. Snowden is the founder of The Juror Project and his remarks will focus on the mind sciences of implicit bias and racial anxiety and their influence on actors and outcomes in the criminal justice system. Mr. Snowden lectures and leads workshops around the country on these topics and the hour-long program is certain to be thoughtful and engaging.
