Volunteers needed for High School Civics Program

Looking for Attorney Volunteers and Committee Members!

Our Chapter will be offering a two-hour civics program for local high school students, Civil Discourse and Difficult Decisions, on the following dates:

February 9, 2023, with Judge Melissa Damian

February 22, 2023, with Judge Alicia Otazo Reyes  (*this will be a 90-minute virtual/Zoom program*)

February 28, 2023, with Judge Roy Altman

During this two-hour, highly interactive class period, the students will focus on decision-making skills and practice civility as a legal and life skill through candid conversations with you, other attorney volunteers, and a Judge from our district. You will also coach students in advocating for a position during a mock argument and guide them through jury deliberations.
