The South Florida Chapter of the Federal Bar Association is hosting a 90-minute panel on artificial intelligence and the practice of law, live and in-person at Boies Schiller Flexner LLP in Miami.

The panel brings together U.S. District Judge Melissa Damian and litigator Mark J. Heise (Heise Suarez Melville, P.A.), moderated by U.S. Magistrate Judge Lauren Louis and FIU Law student Zachary Stangl. The discussion covers what AI actually is, how it's being used in active federal litigation, and what the Rules of Professional Conduct, including the Southern District's Local Rule 7.1(a)(3) disclosure requirement, expect of lawyers who use it.
