About the Event
In recognition of Hispanic Heritage Month, the South Florida Chapter of the Federal Bar Association will host a guided tour of the recently renovated Freedom Tower in Downtown Miami. The event will be open to FBA members and members of the judiciary only.
The Freedom Tower - 100 years
In 2025, Miami’s first skyscraper turns 100. In celebration of this milestone, Miami Dade College is developing immersive multimedia exhibitions that highlight the Freedom Tower’s iconic history—from its early days as the Miami Daily News headquarters to its role as the Cuban Refugee Center, where hundreds of thousands of Cuban exiles were welcomed to the United States.
