The panel brings together U.S. District Judge Rodolfo “Rudy” Ruiz II and U.S. Magistrate Judge Marty Fulgueira Elfenbein with practitioners Ryan Stumphauzer (Stumphauzer Kolaya & Sloman) and Zach Lipshultz (Colson Hicks Eidson), moderated by Michael Mikulic of the SEC. The discussion covers Local Rules fundamentals, court-specific discovery rules including Rule 16.1, and judge-specific preferences for appearances and in-court advocacy in the Southern District of Florida.
