Judicial Reception 2024 Review & Photo Gallery

The South Florida Chapter of the Federal Bar Association held its annual Judicial Reception on February 1, 2024. This year’s event was at a new location, the Penthouse at Riverside Wharf, a modern space with an outdoor rooftop deck.
Across all metrics, the event was an overwhelming success! 45 firms purchased sponsorships, one of the highest numbers of sponsorships ever. Individual tickets to the event sold out in just a few weeks. Around 20 federal judges attended, including Eleventh Circuit judges, district judges, magistrate judges, and bankruptcy judges, as well as 60 federal law clerks. City of Miami Mayor Francis Suarez, City of Miami Beach Mayor Steven Meiner, and Chief Integrity Officer to Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava attended the event as well.
Lawyers throughout the community appreciated the opportunity to engage with members of the federal judiciary while consuming delicious food and enjoying views of the downtown and Brickell city skylines. The perfect weather made the evening that much better.

The gallery captures a professional event where members of the legal community had the chance to connect, celebrate, and recognize the work of the judiciary. It is great to see people building relationships through respectful gatherings like this. During one of my busiest semesters, I remember feeling overwhelmed with deadlines and even searching pay someone to take my online exam because the pressure was so high. Looking back, that experience reminded me how important it is to manage time before stress takes over.
